A place I need to go

I need to enjoy the shade of this tree someday. Little beach in Aruba.

Driving a big truck

When you think your H2 is awesome, remember the 1940's say "fuck your idea of cool".

Street Legal XR

I've been trying for a long time to get my old XR400 plated. Once I finally decided to sell the bike a plated frame comes available. Well, I'm going to do my buddy a favor and swap the frame out for him next quarter. I'll be taking pics and stuff along the way and I'm sure they'll end up on here. I kinda wanna keep the bike now...

Thanksgiving

Was by far the worst it has ever been. I got a fever the night I got into town, held that fever for 2 days, and generally felt like ass for the entire time I was home. Didn't see the family at all, didn't do half of the things I was suppose to do, and didn't get to see some friends. At least I got to see Claire...

Another Old Time

The cleaning ladies didn't find it so funny when they realized why they had to keep replacing the soap.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Stone Hendge.

Old Times

Back in the day when myspace wasn't so gay I had a friend that finally made a profile. She was a very pretty girl who got very tired of people sending her inappropriate messages and such. So instead of a profile picture, she had this. I had saved it all those years ago and still find it funny.

Here's to you, Sol. I hope you are in good health and doing well.

Leopard Seal Mama

This is awesome. Mamas are mamas no matter what you are. The biggest and scariest you want on your side.

Popular Science 1917

This is crazy stuff that is really fun to read. The ideas of the past really aren't too far off from the current idea when you look at the base of them.

I love old stuff. Early to mid century industrial excites me. Have fun looking at this stuff, its worth a good look over.

Did not see...

All Saints Day didn't open in Seattle... I'm pissed and now have to wait for it to come out on DVD, whenever that is.

All Saints Day

It took 10 years, but they are back. I love the original deeply, so this new installment is just what I need. I don't know if they are going to be playing this one in my town, but I sure hope they are otherwise I will drive to where ever I need in order to see it.

Greenly, onion bagel. Cream cheese.

Buell... back?

Buell minus Harley? Might have ourselves a winner... While HD didn't find them to be the powerhouse they wanted, perhaps without the restrictions of a heavy, low horsepower engine such as the past motors prior to the 1125, Buell will turn into a pretty cool bike. Here's to the hope!

For you, Claire

T-shirt idea

So my class decided they wanted to make shirts for the class. Nobody really had any ideas so I decided to make a design based on my current love affair with Fallout 3. We play with needles in our class so it seemed totally fitting.

Buell is dead

I have often talked a lot of crap about Buell as they tried (and somehow was allowed) to race 1125cc machines against 599cc machines and the nutcases that would swear up and down that they were the best machines made. I talked a lot of smack just to shut these people up and deface their racing career. The truth is though that I found Buells to be cool bikes, just not top race machines. I thought the styling of them and things like the rim mounted brake system and fuel-in-frame ideas were pretty cool. However, today I found this:

http://www.buell.com/en_us/

While I think Buells (the motorcycle, not the man) racing career was a joke, it does truely suck to see the only factory American sport company go under. The economy sucks right now and Buells have never been the biggest seller, but they are still a part of industry and a huge inspiration of design and breaking the mold.

The best of luck to you, Mr. Buell. I hope we still see some of your ideas and designs break through into various forms in the future.

Parallel parking

Putting big things in small places is what I do.
The Bozuzoku is a Japanese motorcycle gang that has been around forever. I find them fascinating because they are such a contrast to the typical "American Motorcycle Gang". Where you got the Son's of Anarchy looking dudes who rock around in all black leather and look like bad asses, the Bozuzoku are social deviants in that they try to stand out by being outlandish, obnoxious, and strange. This is a direct clash with the Japanese culture of being quiet and fitting in not standing out.

I love this video of these nutcases. They are wheelie kings too, but wheelies are wheelies. This "music" is all sorts of special.

Chuggin

This is just something I am putting up to post my own little interests, thoughts, stages, and such. No one might read it as I'm not going to be advertising it, but its mine.
