All Saints Day
It took 10 years, but they are back. I love the original deeply, so this new installment is just what I need. I don't know if they are going to be playing this one in my town, but I sure hope they are otherwise I will drive to where ever I need in order to see it.

Buell... back?
Buell minus Harley? Might have ourselves a winner... While HD didn't find them to be the powerhouse they wanted, perhaps without the restrictions of a heavy, low horsepower engine such as the past motors prior to the 1125, Buell will turn into a pretty cool bike. Here's to the hope!

T-shirt idea
Buell is dead
I have often talked a lot of crap about Buell as they tried (and somehow was allowed) to race 1125cc machines against 599cc machines and the nutcases that would swear up and down that they were the best machines made. I talked a lot of smack just to shut these people up and deface their racing career. The truth is though that I found Buells to be cool bikes, just not top race machines. I thought the styling of them and things like the rim mounted brake system and fuel-in-frame ideas were pretty cool. However, today I found this:

While I think Buells (the motorcycle, not the man) racing career was a joke, it does truely suck to see the only factory American sport company go under. The economy sucks right now and Buells have never been the biggest seller, but they are still a part of industry and a huge inspiration of design and breaking the mold.
The best of luck to you, Mr. Buell. I hope we still see some of your ideas and designs break through into various forms in the future.

The Bozuzoku is a Japanese motorcycle gang that has been around forever. I find them fascinating because they are such a contrast to the typical "American Motorcycle Gang". Where you got the Son's of Anarchy looking dudes who rock around in all black leather and look like bad asses, the Bozuzoku are social deviants in that they try to stand out by being outlandish, obnoxious, and strange. This is a direct clash with the Japanese culture of being quiet and fitting in not standing out.
I love this video of these nutcases. They are wheelie kings too, but wheelies are wheelies. This "music" is all sorts of special.
