Microsoft and Window 7

So apparently I missed the "deadline" for getting the student discount on Windows 7. I have been running the beta for about 6 months now and it will expire soon. The $120 on the standard operating system has me miffed. Seriously, its a fucking operating system that is a fix to the international clusterfuck called Windows Vista. I might just find my old Windows XP disk and run that. Its still better than Vista.

Eff you, microsoft. If it weren't for the fact that Apple laptops are so damned expensive, I'd have one of them out of sheer spite for you.


Oh, and discounted Office 2007 is a joke. 2003 was/is a better platform. I'll keep running that old stuff, thank you very much.

Winds of Plague

A little over six months ago I found out about Winds of Plague. These guys kick so much ass its unreal and I figure after listening to them so extensively I'd get tired of them, but no. I'm still listening to both of their albums, Decimate the Weak and The Great Stone War. Symphonic metal is my happy place.

It also doesn't hurt that they had one of the hottest women in metal gracing their keyboard. She has recently left the band and was replaced by another hot chick. But damn, them tattoos....
