Regret

There is one thing I'm beginning to regret more and more as I get older. I regret not being in the military. I've done a lot with my life, but I feel like I should have done at least SOMETHING to serve my country. I'm getting old now, my health is a more than likely a limiting factor to being handed a gun, and I'm probably too well educated at this point to be put out there on the field. However, I'd still like to do something. I think I'm going to try to get into a military base to work at their hospital. I might see if I can become involved with programs to help soldiers and their families. They do more for us than I think most people realize, and I want to be part of giving back.

Thank you, soldiers. I'm grateful for you all looking out for me and the rest of America.
