This weekend I became the happiest of men.

Fasting

So in an attempt to maybe make my body start storing a bit more, I'm doing some intermittent fasting. Tomorrow I'm going 24 hours without food. We'll see if it kicks some of the genes in gear to start storing a bit more and packing on a few LBs. Fun times considering tomorrow is suppose to be the coming of the Rapture by many reports, so assuming I can withstand God's (or Jesus, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I can't remember all this religious mumbo jumbo) wrath, I'm gonna love me some food come Sunday morning. Claire and Eric are doing this with me. Hopefully I'll be busy enough on Saturday that I won't really notice.

Triumph

I know I've said it many a time before, but I really want a Triumph, preferably a Scrambler. I'd happily take any of the 900's and convert it into a Scrambler, but I'd rather just make it easy on myself and start off with what I want. I can't get over how awesome they look, the feel, and just that Triumph glow. Every time I'm at the shop I find myself sitting on the one Scrambler we have left. I want it. I want to own it and make it my own.

Almost Mid May

I reactivated my Facebook account last week. I'm over it again. Its nice to see family on there and know they are doing well, but meh, its facebook. I don't know if it'll be sticking around a whole lot longer.

On a better topic, my stomach is doing wonderful and I'm chalking it up to the diet. I fried my veggies in bacon fat last night, was really quite nice. I'm out of fish now, however. Costco is becoming all too familiar. I would like to go to the butcher some time soon but I don't have the money right now to justify that much meat. At once. I really hope that this summer I can look into getting a grass finished cow. That would be lovely.

Side note, this old movie has popped in my head a bunch lately, not really sure why.

Update

Well, I haven't written anything worthwhile on my little blog here in quite some time. My last post still stands, although I have fixed two of the bikes. I finally got the seal replaced CORRECTLY in the DRZ and it seems to be running great. I rode it down to Cycle Barn the other day and had no issues, and had a blast riding it. The 636 has a new chain and is running great as well. I rode it to work (CB) last weekend and rode it to my moms house. It still needs a valve adjustment, but it'll get there.

My diet is going great as well. I think I am really gluten intollerant as I've found that if I eat grainy stuff now my stomach acts up. Go figure, how long have I been eating cake and burgers? I'm trying to really cut out the sugar as well. I've been doing really well with that but still fall from time to time.

I also started my facebook up again. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Its cool to see some pictures and see whats going on with a few things, but generally speaking I still hate 95% of what facebook is. I only check it at night, which is nice because it lets retarded stuff slide by without getting involved with it.

And finally, I got the coolest birthday present. Every newpaper in the world had front page news of Bin Laden being killed. Happy birthday to me from the US!!! My sister was cool enough to grab a Seatle paper with the new with my B-day date on the front and is going to frame it for me. Too cool!

Well, I think I'm going to start posting crap about my diet and recepites on here now too. Time to keep active with this little blog of mine.
