Mud Run 2012

Did a little mud run for Clean Water. It was a blast! The kids did great and Claire and I had an awesome time with my sister. Everyone got plenty of mud on and had a nice little jog. My sister is leaving soon and I realized when it was done that it might be the last time I see her in this way. She will likely be a different person when she returns. This will be a treasured experience for that and for the chance to do a run with my family.

Tiger 800xc

Finally found my Triumph that I'm enamoured with. I still want a scrambler, but this is kicking so much ass that I am more than happy. I have about 2500 miles on it and I'm riding it every day now. Still need to take some decent high quality photos of it, but that'll come around the first real ride I'm sure. I want to deck this thing out with parts, but alas I must wait. Its coming together and its killer to ride as it. I'm hoping to get out and do some adventure rides this summer. The weather is nice the past few weeks and I just need to get my ass out there.

In another matter, I sold the DRZ and picked up a 675. Well, actually Claire picked up a 675 Street Triple. Thing is awesome, although she is wishing she would have bought the Tiger. Ah well, its a screamer of a bike so that I can't argue with. Satifies that void left by missing sportbike power and handling.
